OnePlus 7T Specifications Allegedly Revealed by Tipster; Snapdragon 855 Plus Teased With Numerous Camera Features
The release date of the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro was earlier shared to be September 26, with India being the first country to showcase both handsets, followed by different markets. Unfortunately, apart from a few renders, the OnePlus 7T specifications weren’t brought into the light, until now. A tipster has shared some intricate details of the upcoming flagship, and we assure you that if this information is correct, then the best is yet to come from the company.
OnePlus 7T Could Include a 90Hz Display Unless the Tipster Is Mistaking It for the OnePlus 7 Pro
Coming to the internals first, Ishan Agarwal on Twitter believes that the OnePlus 7T specifications will include 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 memory for the base model. The top-tier model could offer 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard memory, with the device sold in either the Frosted Silver or Haze Blue flavors. It’s strange that a 12GB RAM version wasn’t mentioned in the tweet, and we say this because the OnePlus 7 is offered with 12GB RAM, but in China only.
Moving on, a smaller notch might be present, with the tipster stating that a Snapdragon 855 Plus will be found in the upcoming handset, providing a decent performance boost over Snapdragon 855-fueled handsets. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.55-inch Optic AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution and surprisingly, a 90Hz refresh rate. The display size mentioned is larger the OnePlus 7’s panel, with the 90Hz refresh rate feature belonging to the larger OnePlus 7 Pro. The battery is also said to receive an increment but not by much; a 3800mAh capacity is mentioned, while the current OnePlus 7 ships with a 3700mAh cell.

As for the OnePlus 7T specifications for the optics, these are some exciting details. As most of you know, the upcoming device might tout a triple-rear camera setup. Agarwal claims in this tweet that the primary one will be a 48MP unit; most likely the Sony Exmor IMX586. Other specifications include 16MP and 12MP secondary sensors, but their purpose for being there wasn’t. If we’re lucky, one of them should allow users to snap images with a wider field-of-view, while the other should allow for lossless zoom capability.
The camera features include 960FPS video recording for 10 seconds, followed by wide-angle video and support for OnePlus’ Nightscape. All these details suggest that the OnePlus 7T could be a promising flagship that’s also slightly more powerful than the OnePlus 7 Pro. Unfortunately, what wasn’t mentioned was the pricing, but such juicy details are normally saved for when we’re close to the official launch.
