As of now, at least one board partner has received the latest RTX 50 Super cards, but NVIDIA has reportedly put the GPUs on hold for sale.
NVIDIA Board Partners Receive RTX 50 Super GPUs, But Are Put on Hold Due to 3 GB GDDR7 Memory Prices
It appears that NVIDIA has already prepared the Blackwell RTX 50 SUPER series cards, but some decisions are yet to be made. We have previously reported that the RTX 50 Super cards were delayed due to pricey GDDR7 memory, and given the current state of the market, NVIDIA not only delayed the SUPER series launch but also tried to maintain stability by re-launching the RTX 3060 12 GB GPU.
As far as the developments around the RTX 50 SUPER series are concerned, the products are apparently ready, but NVIDIA has reportedly not decided to launch them yet. As per Videocardz, at least one of NVIDIA's board partners has received the RTX 50 SUPER series cards. The report doesn't disclose the vendor name, but suggests that it can't sell the GPUs yet.

This is probably why we are not hearing much about the SUPER series from NVIDIA itself. The reason given for such a hold on the products is said to be the 3 GB GDDR7 memory pricing. We already know how volatile the current DRAM market is. Memory prices are highly unstable, and more price hikes are imminent. Considering NVIDIA has been facing difficulties in securing enough DRAM chips for its GPUs, it's even more difficult for the company to source the 3 GB GDDR7 modules.
As per Videocardz, the 3 GB GDDR7 chip costs between $60 and $70, which is significantly higher than the cost of a single 2 GB GDDR7 memory chip. The 2 GB memory chip reportedly costs $20 at the moment, putting 3 GB-based GPUs in a difficult situation. As of now, NVIDIA has reportedly prepared four RTX 50 SUPER GPUs, including the RTX 5070 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, RTX 5080 Super, and the RTX 5050 9 GB. But we also heard about the RTX 5060 Super 12 GB recently, but it's not official yet.
All of these offer 50% more VRAM than their current variants, except for the RTX 5050, which brings one more Gig of VRAM capacity. The RTX 5050 9 GB was probably cancelled due to pricing issues, which is why the budget market only got the RTX 3060 12 GB card.
