Latest iPhone 6 Images Confirm Relocated Power and Volume Key Components
A new set of images has appeared showing the relocated iPhone 6 components: power button, volume keys specifically. Apparently someone from Apple's supply chain has leaked these images of iPhone 6's flex cable. While there is no sure authenticity in any of such images, the parts look fairly similar to iPhone 5s components making the leak quite legit.

Leaked from Apple's supply chain, the three photos show volume and power button flex cables. While both the power and volume keys were earlier part of the same flex cable in iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 components images show that the volume and power buttons are now housed on different cables. The iPhone 6 parts flash Apple logo and also carry the part number perhaps to add some credibility to the images.
The introduction of different cables for both the iPhone 6 components point to earlier schematics which showed that iPhone 6 will feature power button on the side rather on the top to increase better one-hand usability. There is also an added distance between the volume and mute keys as shown in the flex cable images.

Next gen iPhone is expected to sport an ultra-thin, almost bezel-less design form with rounded edges. iPhone 6 leaked images and news suggest that the device will sport an A8 processor, 1 GB RAM, Touch ID sensor, and an improved 8 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). iPhone 6 is also expected to sport a durable sapphire display panel. Software wise, iPhone 6 will be powered by iOS 8 featuring new fitness apps with a focus on Healthbook app, an improved Maps and Siri experience, inter-app communication capabilities and more such refinements.
