Here’s how you can download iOS 13 beta 1 / iPadOS on iPhone XS Max, XS, X, iPhone 8, iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPod touch and more right now.
Update: The 'over the air' and 'download without Developer Account' methods are not live at this point. So please, do not attempt them.
Today is an extremely exciting day for all iOS fans out there as iOS 13 has been revealed and the first ever beta is available for download. There are multiple ways you can grab hold of the beta, and we’re going to highlight each and every single one of them. We also took the liberty of highlighting a method that will hook you up with iOS 13 beta without having to sign up to Apple’s Developer Program membership.
There are two things you need to do before you go ahead with the installation process. First of all, make sure you have backed up your data using iTunes or iCloud. Secondary, make sure your device is compatible to work with iOS 13 beta. If it’s not compatible then you might want to reshuffle your plans a little bit.
With those two things out of the way, let’s look at the options you have at hand.
Register Device UDID First
This step is important. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with your Mac and then launch iTunes once it is detected. Click on the little iPhone-like icon on the top left hand corner, then click on the Serial Number of your device to view the UDID. Click on this number to copy it. Now launch the Apple Developer Program website, sign in, click on Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. Here just select 'All' from the 'Devices' menu on the left then enter the name of the device along with UDID in order to register it.
Download iOS 13 Beta 1 Over the Air
This method is most preferred as you won’t lose your files or settings once iOS 13 beta is done installing. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about connecting your device to iTunes. Everything happens without connecting a single wire.
If you’re up for this method, then you can find the details here: Download iOS 13 Beta 1 Over the Air Without Losing Files or Settings
Clean Install iOS 13 beta 1
Want to reap the maximum benefits of the newly released beta? Then you might want to download iOS 13 beta 1 using a clean slate. But obviously, as the name suggests, you will lose all your files and settings, so a backup is absolutely necessary here. But the upside here is that you will end up with a fresh installation that is as zippy as possible, not hindered by third-party apps running in the background.

Download iOS 13 beta 1 Without a Developer Account
Although Apple will not sanction this in any case, but it’s entirely possible to download iOS 13 beta without a developer account. And we will not be held responsible for anything that might go wrong from trying out this method. Make sure your files and settings are thoroughly backed up before going ahead. I will go as far as suggesting that you should wait for the public beta version of iOS 13 to arrive instead. But if you just can’t wait at all, then head over to this guide: Download and Install iOS 13 Beta 1 Without Apple Developer Program Membership
