A new Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty patch is now live, introducing some welcome performance fixes for Intel CPU, new content, gameplay tweaks, and more.

Patch 1.130 brings, as mentioned above, a fix for an issue that would sometime cause performance issues on PCs powered by 12th or 13th generation Intel CPUs, as well as a bug that could cause crashes in certain locations with AMD FSR 2 and HDR on at 4K resolution. Alongside these two issues, the new patch also fixes some performance issues that could happen during the battle with Demonized Dian Wei at 120 FPS and a few more gameplay issues.

The new Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty also brings new content in the form of the new sub-battlefield Crouching Dragons' Fierce Rumble, an end-game mission where the player has to face multiple bosses in a series of battles and a Training Ground function in the Hidden Village that allows players to train against certain enemies. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the latest game by Team NINJA, released earlier this year on PC and consoles. While the game is certainly not on the same level as the Nioh series, it is an enjoyable game that only became better after release with multiple updates. You can learn more about the game by checking out my review.

With its Three Kingdoms setting, fast-paced combat centered on the Deflection mechanics, improved level design, and renewed focus on action gameplay mechanics, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is another solid action role-playing game by Team NINJA that all fans of the genre will enjoy. While the complex RPG mechanics and loot system of the Nioh games have been toned down for a much more accessible experience for newcomers, they also make the game easier than most of the studio's previous games, something that will undoubtedly disappoint those looking for a real challenge on their first playthrough.
