AMD's newest Zen 4 chip has arrived on the shelves, but as of now, it remains exclusive to Newegg. We reviewed the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D just yesterday and have recommended it for gamers looking to maximize gaming performance without breaking their bank. The processor is basically the smaller sibling of the existing Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but at a slightly lower price of $329.
This is what you would have to pay for the processor on Newegg at the moment, but it appears that Newegg is offering it with a great discount. Users who use the promo code "PKC337" can get it for around $279, which is actually a great price for an X3D CPU that is on par with higher-end SKUs in gaming. We have witnessed 7700X3D performing exceptionally well in gaming workloads, while also trading blows with the 7800X3D in CPU-oriented operations.
