Fortnite Chapter 2 could be the next step in the evolution of the massively popular game by Epic. The image above appeared on the Italian App Store, clearly hinting that major changes are coming with Season 11, big enough to warrant the new moniker in the developer's opinion.

Indeed, the image suggests a new Battle Royale map should be available to players at last. Boats are also visible and should be the new vehicle added to Fortnite Chapter 2. Epic Games will likely reveal more information soon, possibly after the Live Event ending Season 10 on Sunday at 11 AM Pacific Time.

As a reminder, Season 11 is also going to introduce practice matches against AI bots in an effort to ease newcomers into Fortnite while an improved, skill-based matchmaking has already been added to Battle Royale.

It remains to be seen whether all these changes in Fortnite Chapter 2 will be able to counteract the downward trend of sales. As covered yesterday, according to Edison Trends sales are down 52% between Q2 2018 and Q2 2019; brand loyalty, measured in repeat purchases, is also lower compared to Respawn's Apex Legends (49% versus 62%).
