[UPDATE – Release Date Confirmed] Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Pass Will Include 8 New Characters

[Update] Following the Microsoft Store listing, Bandai Namco confirmed that DragonBall FighterZ will launch in the West on January 26th.

[Original Story] Last week, the latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ, the fighting game in development by Arc System Works for PC and consoles, will be getting additional DLC content after launch. Today, we have learned precisely what it's being planned so far.

In a listing for the Dragon Ball FighterZ Ultimate Edition Bundle on the Microsoft Store, it's been confirmed that the game's Season Pass will include 8 new characters. Two of them, Tapion and Android 13, have already been confirmed last week.

Pre-order and receive early access to the Open Beta, early character unlocks to SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta, 2 exclusive lobby avatars, and 3 stamps.

Schedule for the Early Access to the Open Beta will be provided at a later date.

The Ultimate Edition includes:
• The game
FighterZ Pass (8 new characters)
• Anime Music Pack (11 songs from the Anime)
• Commentator Voice Pack

Last week, it's also been confirmed that the game's Story Mode will be different than that of recent Arc System Works fighting games, as players will not only take part in battles but also complete side objectives, improve bonds with other characters and much more.
