Circle to Search Will Soon Work in Split Screen Mode as Well, Making it More Convenient

It has been less than a week since I got my hands on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the one feature I have used more than any other is Circle to Search. It is convenient and gets the job done. The best thing is that if you are looking to search for something, it lets you do that without having to leave the app and open Google Search.

Pixel users will soon be able to enjoy Circle to Search in split-screen mode

It now appears that Google is looking to expand the functionality of Circle to Search. In the future, it could also work in split-screen mode, which should theoretically allow you to search for multiple results without having to leave the app. Now, it is worth noting that the feature already works in split-screen mode if you are using the Galaxy S24 devices, but if you are using the Pixel devices, this same feature will not work.

Thankfully, you might not have to wait long for Circle to Search to work in split-screen mode on Pixel devices because new information has surfaced that will allow you to make that work. You can see the video below, courtesy of Android Authority, showing how this will work once it is available. The feature was enabled in Android 15 Beta 1.

The good thing is that it works just as you would expect Circle to Search to work on Pixel devices, but the strange thing is that it is still limited and unavailable for Google to use. However, the good news is that this limitation is just on the software side, which means that Google might end up enabling this feature in the upcoming Android 15 beta, so we will be sure to keep an eye on whether or not Google will bring this feature to everyone soon.

Again, Circle to Search did look like something that was not going to bring any additional fun to the overall Android experience, but ever since I have been using it, I just cannot seem to stop, as it has made the overall experience so much better than it was before. If you like to search for things on Google, this feature is something you will enjoy a lot.
