After Google announced its latest big releases of Material Design and Android L, developers have been taking the code apart to see what's inside. Android L developer preview can now be installed on Nexus devices as we shared a tutorial with you (read: Install Android L on Nexus 5 and Nexus 7). An XDA dev asdfzz has thus posted the Android L Keyboard apk for non rooted devices. Which is now followed by a very clean Android L Keyboard app in the Google Play Store.

You can get this Android L keyboard app from Play Store without having the need to root or remove the stock Google Keyboard. Works fantastically! The process is pretty straight forward. Download the Android L Keyboard from Google Play > enable the new keyboard > switch input method to Android L keyboard > add any additional languages, if you want to.
