[UPDATE – Pre-load Now Live] Sea of Thieves Launch Content Detailed; New Trailer Released

[Update] According to online reports, Sea of Thieves can now be pre-loaded. The game is around  9.02GB big on Xbox One, 18.64GB on Xbox One X and 19.62GB on PC

[Original Story] Rare's Sea of Thieves is finally launching next week on PC and Xbox One in all regions, and the development team has revealed some new details on the content that will be available at launch.

In the first few days of availability, players will be able to take on quests given by three different guilds. Quests from The Order of Souls guild will allow players to fight against Golden and Shadow Skeletons. The Golden Skeletons come with heavy armor and are weakened temporarily by water, while Shadow Skeletons are weakened by sunlight.

Sea of Thieves will also include hidden lore books at launch, giving players more information about the world and an incentive in exploring. Some of these books will also reveal special quests.

Rare has also confirmed that they will soon expand Sea of Thieves beyond the main goal that has to be obtained at launch, reaching Legendary status and get a hideout. Live campaign and time-based goals will be introduced soon after launch.

Sea of Thieves launches on March 20th on PC and Xbox One in all regions. The game will also be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass from launch day.
