We're all stuck at home these days and it's for our own good, We're mostly catching up shows that we held for a long time on Netflix and it's good if it keeps you to stay indoors. Now, Netflix is bringing new features to the mix that offers more controls to parents or anyone who wants to add a layer of protection to a profile. That's right, the company announced today the arrival of several parental control options to users. One of the options is the ability to add a PIN to their profile which will allow anyone to prevent access from others.

Here's How to Add a PIN to Your Netflix Profile To Prevent Others From Accessing It

As mentioned earlier, Netflix has now added a new option to lock your profile with a PIN which will enable you to prevent access to your profile. if you're unfamiliar with the method, here's how you can do it. Take note that the controls can be implemented only through the Netflix website. From your phone, once you head over to the Account Settings, you will be taken to the associated webpage to set a PIN to your profile.

1. The first thing that you have to do is open the Account Settings.

2. Head over to the profile and Parental Controls section.

3. Now select Profile Lock. You will be asked for your account's password and then add the 4-digit PIN that you want to set.

That's all that you have to do to enable PIN on your Netflix profile. The process is fairly simple, so do give it a swing. Apart from the PIN, Netflix has also added the option to add filters for children's accounts that is based on the country's rating, the option to remove individual movies or series by title and much more.
