AMD FX-Bulldozer CPUs Including Flagship FX-8150 To Reach End-Of-Life by Q4 2012

AMD's first generation FX processors based on the bulldozer architecture would reach EOL by Q4 2012, as reported by Fudzilla. The list includes all processors from the top FX-8150 to the FX-6000 and FX-4000 series offerings.

By 1H of 2013, AMD is expected to ship the last of its Zambezi Processors. The CPUs were originally planned to hit EOL stage earlier though the delay of Vishera slowed down the process however the second generation piledriver based processors are headed their way to the consumer market sometime in Q4 2012.

The new Vishera processors would replace the current Zambezi which have already got massive price drops from the top to low end parts. The flagship FX-8350 along with several other Quad Core FX-4300 and Hexa Core FX-6300 processors would be launched in a few months, For benchmarks on Vishera head over to the article here.
