PlayStation 4 Pro Gets New Teardown Video, Highlights Fan And Heat Sink Differences With Regular PS4

The PlayStation 4 Pro console is now available in all regions, and customers all over the world seem to be satisfied with the latest Sony product. If you want to learn more about the new console, you definitely need to check out a video offering a very in-depth look at the new PlayStation 4 model.

The new PlayStation 4 Pro teardown and disassembly video, shared on YouTube by VirtualFutureTV, showcases the console's internals, highlighting the differences with the regular PlayStation 4 model. Interestingly enough, the console features a much bigger fan and heat sink despite having a wattage that's not too different from the original PlayStation 4's. The PlayStation 4 Pro console has only been released yesterday in all regions, but several customers managed to get their hands on the console before release. One user in particular managed to purchase the console last week, sharing plenty of videos showcasing the console's features and the improvements for games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Titanfall 2 and others.

Yesterday, several users also reported that Battlefield 1 takes advantage of the additional PlayStation 4 Pro power despite there being no official word on the matter. According to these reports, the DICE developed first person shooter runs with a better frame rate and without resolution scaling at 1080p on the new Sony console.
