At this point, we are all aware that Xiaomi loves to be at the forefront when it comes to some robust camera hardware. The Xiaomi 14 series is excellent across the board, but that does not mean that the company will not outdo itself. We have just received word that the Xiaomi 15 Pro, the company's next flagship, will bring even better camera hardware than the one found in the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which is already an excellent device for all intents and purposes.

The information comes from none other than Digital Chat Station, and the tipster reveals that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will bring a periscope zoom camera, something that was missing from the Xiaomi 14 Pro and was only present in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. For those who don't know, having a periscope zoom camera allows for a much better result when taking zoomed-in shots, and it generally provides a better overall image quality.
It is worth noting that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be an imaging powerhouse. There is not much information available on this flagship, but based on the information we have received, the phone will bring a triple 50-megapixel camera setup on the back, with all three cameras being 50-megapixel. So, you will get your hands on an ultra-wide, a standard zoom camera, and a periscope telephoto camera, which is the perfect setup to go for.
The Xiaomi 15 series will be one of the first batches of 2025 flagships to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The phones will be announced later this year for the domestic market, followed by an international launch sometime in 2025. Another thing to note is that Xiaomi will likely introduce the Ultra variant separately, as it has done with the previous generation. The chipset on that phone will also be the same, but there will be some other upgrades under the hood, including better camera sensors.
Needless to say, if you have been considering upgrading to the Xiaomi 14 series, I would highly suggest that you wait for the Xiaomi 15 Pro, as it will deliver all that you are looking for and more in terms of cameras as well as overall performance.
