The Xiaomi 14 series is launching globally on 25th February, later this month, and so far, there has been some really interesting information about the upcoming phones. Earlier today, I published the renders of the Ultra variant, and now we have a new leak that talks about the global pricing of the upcoming devices. And one thing I can tell you from the start is that these phones will not be cheap.
The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra are priced competitively. Pro model to not ship to international markets
A French website has posted European websites for the Xiaomi 14 and Ultra variant, and if you are wondering what happened to the Pro variant, then that is not going to hit the international markets for whatever reason. I believe that two models should suffice as they will have a significant price difference, so I doubt you would go wrong here.
According to the website, the Xiaomi 14 will start at €1,099 (~$1,176) for the sole 12GB/512GB variant. If you are looking for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, then you are expected to pay €1,499 (~$1,604). Remember that Xiaomi will not be offering other storage variants, so you will be left to choose between the only ones listed above.
Now, when comparing the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra to the Galaxy S24 devices, they are a little cheaper than the Samsung offering. Still, you also have to look at whether you are willing to let go of One UI for HyperOS because, as far as I can tell, one of the most important aspects of having a capable Android device is the software experience that it delivers. Both phones are on par as far as the hardware is concerned, and the main difference will be how good the cameras are. I have a feeling that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have serious competition.
