Work on Star Wars Battlefront II, the new entry in the series released last year on PC and consoles, is proceeding, and it seems like the game will be getting plenty of content in the future.

On his Official Twitter profile, the game's Design Director Dennis Brännvall‏ has been recently talking about content that will be coming to the game. Among the new features, it seems like there will be private matches.

Tweaks to rolling and dodging will also be coming soon, alongside fixes for Hero abilities.

Interestingly enough, it seems like Dennis Brännvall‏ has been teasing the content for the next season. Judging by what he has been talking about, mentioning the March on the Jedi Temple, Jar Jar and Anakin Skywalker, there's a good chance that it will be focused on the prequel trilogy.

In our review of Star Wars Battlefront II, we noted how the game is definitely worth a play, despite some issues that prevent it from being a masterpiece.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has the potential to be an amazing game, however, it is unlikely we’ll ever get to play the real game as it's hidden beneath microtransactions. In an ideal world, EA would remove the Star Card system completely and replace it with something that doesn’t interfere with the gameplay. If you are on the fence, maybe wait a few weeks to see how EA deal with the progression system beforehand. That being said, even with Battlefront 2’s flaws I’d still say it’s worth playing.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
