The Mass Effect Andromeda trial is now available for both Xbox One and PC through EA Access and Origin Access.
As part of the publisher’s early access program, EA has made the upcoming Mass Effect available for both EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access on PC. On Xbox One, the game clocks in at 42.19GB.
Those interested will be playable to play Andromeda for up to 10 hours until the game’s official release next week.
Early access will include access to the game’s campaign mode, although this mode will be ‘gated’ and players won’t be able to progress after the gate is reached. Andromeda’s multiplayer on the other hand will be playable without restrictions.
Mass Effect: Andromeda travels deep into the Andromeda Galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way. There, you will lead our fight for a new home in hostile territory where we are the aliens. Take command as the Pathfinder, a leader of a squad of military-trained explorers, with deep progression and customization systems. This is the story of humanity’s next chapter, and your choices throughout the game will ultimately determine our survival in the Andromeda Galaxy. As you unfold the mysteries of the Andromeda Galaxy and the hope for humanity lies on your shoulders, you must ask yourself – how far will you go? HDR enhanced for richer, more luminous colors.
Mass Effect Andromeda will release globally for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 next week. As covered earlier today, the house of AMD has released a new set of Radeon drivers optimized for the game, improving performance by up to 12% on RX 480 8GB cards.
