A new trailer has been released today for Kingdom Hearts III, the new main entry in the series launching in January 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The new trailer, which can be watched below, has been aired in time for the Tokyo Game Show 2018 and it focuses on one of the game's worlds, the Big Hero 6 world.

Originally aired before Tokyo Game Show 2018, this trailer shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting alongside Big Hero 6 in San Fransokyo! But forces of Darkness are also making ominous moves.

The Big Hero 6 world will only be one of the many worlds that will be included in Kingdom Hearts III. Alongside story content, the upcoming action role-playing game will also include plenty of optional activities, such as mini-games, which will bump up the game's length to more than 80 hours.

In addition to the main story, players can look forward to several mini-games. One is a cooking game with Remy from Ratatouille. You must find ingredients hidden across several of the worlds and use them to create new recipes. There are 20 different old-school Tiger Toys/Game & Watch style 2D side-scrolling games based on Mickey cartoons from the 1930s and 40s. Building your Gummi ship (used for traveling to each world) is pretty much a mini-game of its own. Kingdom Hearts 3 is around 40-50 hours if you stay on the critical path. Including the mini-games, players can expect 80+ hours of content.

Kingdom Hearts III launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25th.
