Apple decided to dial down the price of its 2018 iPhone range when it launched the iPhone XR for $749. However, this does exactly not make it an affordable handset. Last year, the company unveiled the iPhone 8 for $699, which is not cheap, but the tech giant has made a move that will make the device from last year a lot easier on your finances. The only trade-off is that this iPhone is not going to be new.
iPhone 8 Refurbished Price Will Cost You $599 for the Base Version
The base storage model of the iPhone 8 on Apple’s Refurbished store costs $499 and it sports 64GB of onboard storage. Even at that price, the handset is faster than its high-end Android competitors. Unfortunately, you will have to accept the fact that the iPhone 8 features just 2GB of RAM. When future software updates are rolled out, a regular user might find that there are times when the iPhone 8 might not be able to keep up with its other brethren.
The interesting thing to note here is that the iPhone 8 Plus has also been listed, but it is only available in the Space Gray color variant Apple’s Refurbished store and costs $599. It carries several benefits when compared to the smaller iPhone 8. It has a bigger display, resulting in higher screen real estate. While it features the same A11 Bionic chipset, it carries 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM, along with a dual-camera and larger battery.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus designs do not exactly ooze the term ‘futuristic’ but luckily, these are not meant for those customers. The advantage of purchasing these handsets from Apple’s Refurbished store is that the company’s products are tested rigorously and you also get a 12-month warranty. Apple’s refurbished iPhone models also come with a brand new battery, new outer shell, and a new white box.
However, supply is limited and Apple will only release the product once it has received the full payment from your side. If you want to purchase a refurbished iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, you can click on the source link at the bottom to get started.
