iPhone 11 Max Shown Off With Apple Pencil In Important Leak
Over the past few weeks, leaks for the iPhone 11 lineup have stopped. We had a good run before this happened, as news for the upcoming smartphones' biggest upgrade made rounds on the rumor mill regularly, and that too from multiple sources. Apple is rumored to introduce a triple rear camera on its flagships and only smartphones this year.
The new addition on the iPhone will be a super-wide-angle sensor that's capable of capturing images with a 130° field-of-view, as per details from Ming Chi Kuo. Now, we're seeing an oft-repeated rumor for Apple's smartphones once again. It talks about a feature that Steve Jobs had publicly denounced, and now, it looks if Apple's ready to move away from the shadow of its late co-founder. Take a look below for more details.
Purported Cases For The iPhone 11 Max Show A Holder For The Apple Pencil
Exactly a month back, we witnessed a lot of iPhone 11 dummies making rounds on the interweb. These devices were based on leaked specifications of the upcoming smartphones, and they focused on the smartphones' rear cameras. The best of all the models were from Mobilefun, and from their photographs, we conjectured that Apple might introduce more camera lens elements, or other upgrades on the 2019 iPhones; upgrades that would provide their camera setups with heft.
Today, Mobilefun is back, and now they've got case renders of the iPhone 11 Max from Olixar. Olixar's often the first to the scene with details for upcoming iPhones, and today's information suggests that the larger iPhone 11 will do away with the past.
Taking a kook at the case images above, it's clear that the cutout on the right is for the Apple Pencil. If today's information is correct, then the iPhone is in for a big upgrade. Apple's hesitated to add a stylus to the smartphones for years, but as the Cupertino tech giant struggles with iPhone growth and finds it harder to differentiate each generation upgrade from its predecessor, it just might turn out that 2019 will be the year that Apple will claim to have finally brought a stylus to its device. This, in turn, will officially put the iPhone 11 Max in the 'phablet' category.
The move will provide effective competition to Samsung's Galaxy Note series. While Samsung's Galaxy S smartphones are for the 'casual' flagship user, the Note phablets have always attracted users with productivity needs in mind. The devices' stylus has played a big part in this, and now, we'll see if the Apple Pencil can keep up with the Note 10's S-Pen in terms of functionality and features offered. That is, if today's information holds true.
