Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Leaks Ahead of Summer Game Fest Reveal, Seemingly Another Game Arriving in the Busiest Month of 2026

After developer Milestone delivered two Hot Wheels Unleashed games that were surprise arcade racing hits, we now know what the studio is following those games up with, though the news didn't hit the airways the way Milestone intended. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is the next Hot Wheels game from Milestone, with the title, and even trailer, leaking ahead of its official Summer Game Fest 2026 reveal.

First reported by the very reliable Billbil-kun at Dealabs, Milestone returns to the Hot Wheels franchise after the last Hot Wheels game, Hot Wheels Let's Race: Ultimate Speed was developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment. After Let's Race was lost in the shuffle of a very busy October last year (Battlefield 6, ARC Raiders, Ghost of Yotei, Ninja Gaiden 4, Pokémon Legends: Z-A all released in October 2025), Milestone has a strong chance to bring the arcade racer back into the spotlight.

Though the studio's choice of release date may step into the same problem Let's Race had. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is due out on September 24, 2026, according to the report. While that's almost definitely a release date choice informed by a desire to avoid going anywhere close to GTA 6, as Wccftech's Alessio Palumbo pointed out, September is becoming incredibly stacked. In fact, Infinite Rush even joins Control Resonant and Silent Hill Townfall on the 24th, with Onimusha: Way of the Sword arriving the next day.

And those are just the big games we know of at the time of this writing that are launching within 24hrs of each other. Never mind the other major titles all launching in September, like Marvel's Wolverine. Sure, you could say that the players looking for their next arcade racer are still going to buy Infinite Rush, but the fact of the matter is there's a lot of noise in September. It'll be easy for any game to get lost in the shuffle.

For those who do decide to jump into Infinite Rush in September, it'll arrive on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2, and it'll be $49.99 USD, according to the report. The game's trailer even leaked early, though the video has since been taken down.

Now, it's always worth noting, even with the reputation of someone like Billbil-kun, that this remains a rumour until we actually see it revealed. It'll of course likely be at today's Summer Game Fest showcase, though it could also come at any point over the next few days, during the Xbox Games Showcase, the PC Game Show, or another of the multiple events happening over the next week.

Hopefully, we don't have to wait too long to find out more about Hot Wheels Infinite Rush.
