Following E3’s permanent retirement, Geoff Keighley’s annual Summer Game Fest has officially claimed the crown for the summer gaming season. And, as every year, 2026's showcase featured both world premieres and updates to already announced games, with something for all sorts of gamers to be excited about.

Everything Announced

  • Final Fantasy VII Revelation – The third and final entry of the Remake Trilogy was officially announced, featuring a massive open world fully explorable with the Highwind airship and the full party. Launching in Spring 2027 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Resident Evil Veronica – The remake of the classic entry in the series originally released on SEGA Dreamcast will drop the "Code" from the name, while introducing modernized gameplay and an updated design for Claire Redfield. Launches in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2.
  • Mighty Cuphead Adventure – A new entry in the run-and-gun franchise developed by Studio MDHR launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Alien: Isolation 2 – Official announcement of the second entry in the series set to double down on the incredible atmosphere of its predecessor, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • gen Atlas – Formally known as Project Robot, the next single-player game from the creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will launch on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Play as an operative controlling massive robots to revive a halted terraforming project.
  • Blood Message – A cinematic, single-player linear action-adventure game in development by 24 Entertainment Lin'an Studio. Launch platforms and release window are currently unannounced.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin – PlatinumGames returns with a new action-heavy title inspired by the legendary graphic novel launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • An Eggstremely Hard Game – A physics-based co-op game by BBear Studio where ducks try to transport a fragile egg. Launches on July 24, 2026 on PC.
  • Gundam Rogue Orbit – New game based on one of the most popular anime franchises of all time, this high-mobility giant mech action game will blend a cinematic campaign with hard-hitting combat. Launches in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Control Resonant – New look at the action-RPG where Dylan Faden will travel through a twisted version of Manhattan and the mysteries of the Oldest House. Launches September 24, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
  • Guild Wars 3 – New entry in the popular MMO franchise, marking its debut on PlayStation 5 alongside PC. First beta testing scheduled for Fall 2027.
  • RuneScape: Dragonwilds – New look at the fantasy RPG launching its 1.0 version with the Scorned Wilderness update on September 15, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • 1666: Amsterdam – The historical witch-themed action game from the creator of Assassin's Creed series Patrice Désilets resurfaced with a gameplay showcase ahead of an Early Access release later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • SAW: Genesis – A 3v1 survival horror game by Anshar Studios and Broken Mirror Games acting as a prequel to the franchise, where three players must work together to escape a maze of traps orchestrated by one player acting as the "Judge". Launches into Early Access later this year on PC via Steam.
  • Star Wars: Zero Company – First gameplay trailer for the tactical turn-based game in development by Bit Reactor launching on August 27 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. The legendary Anakin Skywalker will also appear in the game.
  • Among Us Story: On Guard – A standalone, single-player narrative game where you play a security officer trying to investigate a murder aboard a MIRA R&D simulation vessel. A playable demo launches on June 15, 2026, with the full game releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2
  • Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced – A new trailer showing off naval gameplay accompanied by a new arrangement of the Leave Her Johnny sea shanty performed by Woodkid, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance – Officially unveiled as a massive expansion adding new environments, new mechanics and new monsters, including the returning Elder Dragon Kushala Daora. Launches in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
  • Palworld 1.0 – The survival crafting indie darling officially leaves Early Access and launches its full 1.0 build on July 10 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • The Wolf Among Us 2 – Following years of complete silence, the game resurfaced with a new trailer confirming a 2027 release window for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. To bridge the gap, a remaster of the original game will launch this year.
  • Stellar Blade: Blood Rain – New entry in the series by Shift Up, set in the same world but with new protagonists and the same intense action of its predecessor, launching on PlayStation 5 and PC.
  • Stranger Than Heaven – The new trailer featured a virtual appearance by Tupac and a confirmation of its January 15, 2027 launch date on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
  • Virtua Fighter Crossroads – The first full look at the revival of the series, revealing its narrative direction and a 2027 release window for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Star Wars Galactic Racer – New gameplay trailer showed off campaign tracks and iconic characters like Sebulba and Bossk ahead of its October 6, 2026 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Street Fighter 6 Year 4 – The Year 4 DLC roster of the latest entry in the series includes newcomers Yasmine, Arjun, and Bosch, and Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Sonic Pico Park – A chaotic cooperative multiplayer spin-off was announced as part of Sonic's 35th-anniversary celebration launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Sonic Racing CrossWorlds – The Year 2 DLC will bring unexpected crossovers with Godzilla and Evangelion to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Attack on Titan 3 – In development by Omega Force and Koei Tecmo, the third entry in the series will cover the entire anime storyline from start to finish on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Lords of the Fallen II – The new combat-heavy trailer showcased the new Katana weapon type, areas of Thorngar, and bosses. Slated for a Fall 2026 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Crossfire – The new cinematic, single-player tactical game from former Naughty Dog and Infinity Ward developers will follow two enemy operators forced into a fragile alliance against an existential threat, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor – Expansion for the latest entry in the series launching August 14, 2026. Adds two new story chapters focusing on Don Salieri’s early days on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Mortal Shell 2 – Short trailer announcing the open beta that is live right now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Dead by Daylight – A 10th-anniversary teaser trailer tracking a major upcoming horror roadmap update across all major platforms.
  • End of Abyss – Atmospheric isometric horror title launches on October 1, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Swords of Legends – New action gameplay trailer showed an intense boss battle against Kong Kong Zi, Master of Cantrip on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Hot Wheels Infinite Rush – Toy-city driving game featuring giant open-world loops and classic orange tracks, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Clutch – Narrative-driven racing game set in an open world from former Forza Horizon developers, targeting a 2027 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Chronicles Medieval – Large-scale historical strategy game featuring massive army combat, launching into Early Access later this year on PC.
  • Sea of Remnants – New look at the pirate action game showcasing ship management and battles between rival factions, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
