Galaxy S9 to Retain Headphone Jack and Rumored to Come With New Camera Feature and Freebies
Samsung might want to differentiate itself from Apple and according to the latest rumor, the Galaxy S9 could still come with a headphone jack, something that other manufacturers are aiming to get rid of permanently. It is a good thing that someone believes this port should still be present because it negates the need to purchase additional accessories and dongles in the process.
Apart From the Headphone Jack, Galaxy S9 Is Rumored to Be Sold With Free Premium-Quality Earphones and More
According to IceUniverse, who is also seen prowling around Twitter, Samsung has already taken the Galaxy S9 project into the prototype phase, with this particular version featuring a headphone jack. Smartphone giants like Apple and Samsung test out numerous prototypes before settling on one model.
This can also mean that the prototype can be changed in the future and Samsung might actually remove the headphone jack solution from the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Let us pray that it does not come to that. However, what the leakster did state on his Weibo account was that the flagship will feature AKG premium earphones, which is something that Samsung did when it announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
It is possible that Samsung goes the extra distance and bundles earphones that feature Bluetooth connectivity. This is just a way of saying thanks to the people who spent a small fortune in purchasing the flagship. A lot of companies could actually take Samsung’s example.
As for the optics, the Galaxy S9 camera has been rumored to come with anti-glare technology, something that could improve picture quality immensely.
Both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have also been rumored to come with dual-camera configurations, so we’ll have to see if this is going to be the same solution on the Note 8 or something better.
Whatever the case may be, we will be updating you on this in the future but let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
