Destiny 2 PC Patch 1.0.6.2 Hotfixes FPS “Hitching” Issues Introduced With Hotfix 1.0.6.1

Destiny 2

Destiny 2 PC patch 1.0.6.2 is being deployed today to address “hitching” issues introduced with the previous PC hotfix.

Hotfix 1.0.6.1 was released last week and was aimed to address performance degradation alongside Clan rosters issues. Unfortunately, this hotfix also introduced framerate stuttering issues for some PC players. Following the reports, Bungie shared that they are investigating the stuttering.

“We are actively investigating reports of Destiny 2 PC frame rate stuttering after accepting Hotfix 1.0.6.1.”, Bungie tweeted.

It appears that Bungie has now found a solution to solve the FPS hitching, and once available today, players "may be returned to the login screen to take the Hotfix after completing their current activity".

Bungie notes that players may need to restart the game in order to apply the hotfix.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
