Yesterday Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has received the new 1.05 patch on PlayStation 4. The new patch comes with plenty of new fixes and tweaks as well as support for the game's first DLC map pack, Awakening. Treyarch revealed that the Xbox One and PC patches are still in the works and a few hours ago the team's Design Director David Vonderhaar has revealed when these patches might be released.

According to Mr. Vonderhaar, the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 1.05 patch will be released on Xbox One and PC between one and two weeks. Anything can go wrong between now and then so nothing is set in stone as of now

David Vonderhaar has also revealed an additional feature included in the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 1.05 patch which isn't mentioned in the patch notes, Colorblind Mode. To activate it, players will have to go to Menu, Option and Graphics.

Mr. Vonderhaar has also shared more on how playlists will change with the first DLC map pack Awakening. The new maps will be put in all playlists with an increased frequency and the team will probably introduce a time-limited bonus playlist featuring the most popular modes to let players get familiar with the new maps.

The first Call of Duty Black Ops 3 DLC map pack, Awakening, is now available on PlayStation 4. The pack includes additional multiplayer maps as well as the first chapter of a new Zombie adventure. The Awakening pack has yet to be dated for the other formats, but more on the matter should be revealed soon.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The 1.05 patch is now available on PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One and PC release coming in a couple of weeks.
