Apple Releases Beta 10 Of watchOS 5 And tvOS 12 Released To Developers
Apple has seen fit to release beta 10 of its upcoming tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 to developers for testing purposes. tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 are on the verge of being announced and these are some of the last beta builds that Apple has released. The new beta builds arrive almost a week after the company released beta 9 to developers. In addition to this, it has been more than two months since Apple announced the updates at its WWDC event this year. So let's see some more details on what the new beta builds have to offer.
Beta 10 Of watchOS 5 And tvOS 12 Released To Developers
watchOS 5 beta 10 is designed for the Apple Watch and you can download it right now through the Apple Developer Center. Do make sure that a proper configuration profile is installed. Once the profile is installed, watchOS 5 beta 10 can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Simply head to General and then Software Update.
watchOS 5 is a major upgrade taking into account all the forward-facing additions that Apple has added. For instance, it adds the new Walkie-Talkie feature with push-to-talk functionality, Siri Shortcuts, new watch faces and much more.
As for tvOS 12, the new beta 10 is designed for the fourth and fifth generation of Apple TV. You can download the new beta on your set-top box using the appropriate profile which can be installed using Xcode. From then on, subsequent beta builds can be downloaded via the software update mechanism on the device.
tvOS 12 will also feature new additions to the table such as support for Dolby Atmos sound. Moreover, the forthcoming operating system will have a lot of other stuff as well.
