AMD Driver 19.4.2 Significantly Improves Performance for Radeon VII and Vega 64 GPUs in World War Z

The latest AMD driver (Adrenaline 19.4.2) is out now, adding support for Anno 1800 and World War Z. The latter game, launched yesterday on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Epic Games Store, receives a significant performance boost with this AMD driver if you're using a Radeon VII or Radeon X Vega 64 graphics card.

This isn't surprising since Saber Interactive partnered with AMD a few months ago to optimize the game for AMD technologies. Below you can find the full changelog notes for then AMD driver Adrenaline 19.4.2.

  • System instability may be experienced on ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 laptop when a wireless display is connected.
