Activate God Mode in Windows 10:

God Mode is a favorite feature of Windows users which Microsoft has been offering with the previous three OS iterations. Enabling the power users, this mode lets you have access to all the settings no matter how small or secretly hidden they may be inside the operating system. When activated, the God Mode folder will contain over forty different categories including settings for User Accounts and Windows Defender, among others. Experience god-like access to 260+ functions and tools enabling you to truly customise your operating system.

If you’d like, you can also drag and drop any of the included commands to your desktop to create a quick shortcut for that command. This might become a useful feature as Settings app is no more a drag-able feature that could be turned into quick shortcuts. You have, however, easy access to it via the Start screen. You can also pin this God Mode folder to the Start menu if you don’t like having too much clutter on your desktop.

Before you move forward to enable God Mode in Windows 10, make sure you are logged in with administrative privileges.

  • Create a new folder on your desktop: right-click on Windows 10 desktop and on the context menu, click on New Folder.
  • Name this newly created folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  • When you name the new folder with the specially crafted string above, this folder will turn into a God Mode folder.
  • Once created, you can enter in this GodMode folder to view all the new settings.
