Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 1 The Master Trails Available Now; Team Hard at Work on DLC 2

Nintendo has released Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC pack 1 ‘The Master Trails’, and is hard at work on the game’s second expansion, which will release later this year.

As covered earlier, the first expansion pack for Breath of the Wild offers a new trail, known as Trail of the Sword, the hero’s path mode, and the harder difficulty ‘master mode’. This new harder difficulty makes the game harder to complete but also features new enemies that won’t appear in the game’s normal mode. In a new post on the official Zelda website, game designer Tominaga highly recommends the Master Mode as it will surely offer a new experience.

No New Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC, Aonuma Confirms; Champion’s Ballad Expansion is BOTW’s Finale

From Trials of the Sword to Hero's Path Mode, I can recommend everything included in this pack to you. However, if I had to pick just one feature, then my recommendation would be the second playthrough in Master Mode, where enemies are ranked up and represent much tougher challenges.

Master Mode is not just a harder difficulty mode. It also includes enemies that don't appear in the normal mode, and it offers you a new gameplay experience. In order to advance the story in Master Mode, your skills and knowledge gained by playing the normal mode will definitely be useful. It's extremely fun to blast through Master Mode while fully utilizing my past experiences!

Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 1 is part of the game’s expansion pass and is available right now. More information about the game’s second expansion, The Champion’s Ballad, will follow later.
