The Asus ROG Phone 8 Could Finally Deliver a Competitive Camera System

The Asus ROG Phone 8 could arrive any day now, and there is no denying that the phone is going to pack some of the best hardware available on the market. However, the one thing that is not always a primary focus for gaming phones is the camera system, but the company has teased something that might give us what we are looking for.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 could finally bring a much-needed camera upgrade to the lineup

The past Asus ROG phones have been great in terms of specs, but the cameras have been lacking. That is possibly going to change with the Asus ROG Phone 8 because, based on the latest teaser from the company, the phone will deliver a "brand new camera system."

Sadly, the given information does not reveal the exact camera system Asus is going to use for the ROG Phone 8, but I really hope that it is a higher-end sensor so we can actually take some stellar pictures with great dynamic range and everything else you would want from a high-end smartphone camera.

The new teaser also reveals the camera island on the Asus ROG Phone 8, and it shows the look Asus is going for this time around. It is slightly different than what we have seen on past phones, but it does maintain its angular look.

Sadly, there is not much information available on the latest flagship from Asus, but we can confirm that you are getting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, lots of RAM and storage, and a massive battery. The remaining features are synonymous with gaming phones. You can expect more details about Asus' next gaming phone, and honestly, I am looking forward to it, as well. Here is hoping I get a review unit to see just how good a gaming smartphone can be.
