Tekken 7 is still somewhat far from its PC and console release, and the team still has the time to add more content to its upcoming fighting game. Earlier today, series' creator Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that another returning charater will join the Tekken 7 roster.

During a Barcelona Games World livestream, it's been confirmed that Miguel will be among the Tekken 7 playable characters. A new trailer has also been made available, showcasing the character's unique fighting style, and you can check it out right below.

With Tekken 7 launching on three different formats, many are hoping for cross-platform play features, but it seems like it won't be happening due to a variety of reasons. Not only first party company policies and potential security risks may be getting in the way, but also the reputation of PC gamers being cheaters, according to Katsuhiro Harada himself.

It’s not a matter of the technology for getting the PS4/XB1/PC players to match up against each other being the issue, but rather first party company policies and potential security risks alongside the community perceived reputation of PC gamers being cheaters that is hindering the decision to allow cross platform play.

Tekken 7 launches early next year in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you updated on the Bandai Namco's fighting game as soon as more comes in, so stay tuned for more. In the meantime, you can learn more about it by checking out our own hands-on preview from a few months back.
