With Street Fighter V being so close to release, it's not surprising to see Capcom promote the game as much as the publisher has been doing in these past few days. Today is yet another big day for the upcoming fighting game, as Capcom is now holding a special presentation event in Japan.

During the event, which is still underway at the time of writing, Capcom has shown the first piece of artwork for Alex, the first DLC character that will be released for the game. The character looks slightly different from his Street Fighter III appearance, and it will be very interesting to see how he will play in the new release.

During the event, the Japanese publisher has also shown another costume for the new character F.A.N.G., which can be checked out in the image below.

Other new details have also been revealed a few minutes ago. The Street Fighter V survival mode will come with a very interesting spin, as players will also be facing characters like Bison's henchmen in the mode.

Street Fighter V has received another trailer yesterday. The trailer showcased plenty of gameplay sequences featuring all launch playable fighters, so it's a very interesting watch for those who haven't been following the game too much in the past weeks.

The first Street FIghter V review has come in earlier this week thanks to Japanese magazine Famitsu. The four reviewers praised the game's controls and V-Trigger mechanic, but have also noted the lack of single player content.

Street Fighter V will be released next week, on February 16th, on PC and PlayStation 4. We'll update the post if anything new is revealed during today's event so stay tuned for all the latest news on Street Fighter V.
