Star Wars Battlefront, the latest game based on the popular franchise released last year on consoles and PC, has been quite successful, so it's not surprising that the game will receive a sequel in the future. Star Wars Battlefront 2 isn't the only game based on the franchise currently in development, as revealed by EA during its EA Play conference.

During the conference, it's been confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is currently being developed by DICE in collaboration with Motive, the team lead by Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond. The news is somewhat surprising, since it was known that the team was actually collaborating with Visceral in the development of their own Star Wars game. It's also been confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will include content from the more recent Star Wars movies.

Visceral's game has also been mentioned during the conference. The game, which will be released sometime during 2018, will include a brand new narrative. Not much else has been said about the game, so we still know very little about it.

A third Star Wars game has also been mentioned during today's EA Play conference. This new game, which is currently in development by Respawn, Titanfall's developer, is going to be a third person game which will explore a new era of the Star Wars universe. Not much else has been said, but the Respawn's game definitely sounds promising.

A trailer giving a look at these projects has also been released, and you can check it out right below.
