Earlier this month, Sony confirmed a new PlayStation Meeting, which will be held in New York on September 7th. Not much has been said about what is going to be announced, but it's pretty safe to assume the PlayStation 4 Neo is finally getting unveiled during the event. However, it seems like one other console is going to be revealed during the event.

According to The Wall Street Journal, which has received the information through sources familiar with the matter, Sony will introduce two new consoles in order to maintain demand for the PlayStation 4. With the PlayStation 4 Neo already confirmed by the Japanese company, the other console is most likely a new version of the regular PlayStation 4.

Interestingly enough, some pictures showcasing what seems like a PlayStation 4 Slim have surfaced online in the past few hours. The pictures, which have been made available on an online auction listing, now removed, showcase the design of the PlayStation 4 Slim as well as its box and some of its features, such as the 500GB hard drive and the lack of the PS4 optical port. For the rest, the PS4 Slim will sport the same features as the regular PlayStation 4, not counting the slimmer design. The box also seems to suggest the console comes from the European or Arabic regions, so there's the chance that things might be slightly different for the North American release.
