Rage 2, the sequel to the 2011 game made by id Software, is due to launch tomorrow on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In advance of the release, the developers have shared the post-launch content calendar up until Fall. This month, Rage 2 players can expect new Wasteland challenges, weapon skins and a world event titled 'Bring the Ruckus'. In June there'll be new Wasteland challenges, weapon skins, cheat codes, a 'Day 30' update and a world event titled 'Mech yourself before you wreck yourself', where players will presumably get their hands on a mech to lay down mayhem across the wasteland.
July will see a brand new vehicle, the One-Wheeler, added to the game alongside the usual new Wasteland challenges, weapon skins, and yet another world event titled 'Global Worming'.
In August the first expansion, titled 'Rise of the Ghosts', will drop into Rage 2 adding new story missions, a brand new enemy faction, new weapons, abilities, vehicles and areas to explore. This will be a paid DLC, while free updates that month will include a world event titled 'Mutant Derby' as well as new Wasteland challenges and weapon skins. However, owners of the Deluxe Edition will find Rise of the Ghosts to be included in the package.
Lastly, later in the Fall season, the second expansion (untitled as of yet) will drop with new story missions, weapons, abilities, vehicles and areas to explore. This will be yet another paid DLC, while free updates for everyone will feature the usual wasteland challenges, weapons skins and a world event titled 'Enemy Rageisode 2: Attack of the Drones'.
