PUBG Xbox One Download Size Revealed; Unlocked in New Zealand but Servers Still In Maintenance

PUBG

It appears that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS for Xbox One has been unlocked in New Zealand, and the PUBG Xbox One download size has been revealed by the official Microsoft Store.

While we previously reported that PUBG on Xbox One would require up to 30GB of free space, the official Microsoft store only mentions a download size of 5.24GB for the game’s Game Preview that will release globally tomorrow. As said in our previous post however, the 30GB install size most likely refers to the game’s install size on Xbox One X.

The popular battle-royale shooter appears to have been unlocked for those in New Zealand, but as noted by Reddit user ‘gmaknz’, the servers are still in maintenance.

PUBG will release globally for Xbox One tomorrow. If you're wondering how Bluehole and Microsoft managed to find the right balance for the game's "innovative" control scheme on Microsoft's console, check out this post.
