NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs are witnessing a price drop trend in Germany as some SKUs have started to retail below MSRP.

German Retailers Listing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs Below Their MSRPs

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs initially retailed at prices much higher than the official MSRPs, and while this wasn't a surprise, it is a trend with newer launches in the European region. However, it looks like the prices are finally starting to drop back to their optimal levels, surprisingly much faster than how they went up.

Beginning with the mid-tier NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, the GPU has dropped to €589 after being listed for €659, marking a considerable difference. Moreover, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has also seen a similar reduction, coming down almost €50 from the initial launch price.

Similar price waves have also been witnessed for other SUPER GPUs within the lineup, indicating that either inventory levels have reached a reasonable level or the demand from consumers has dropped. Moreover, if we talk about individual GPUs, the "Ti" variant is seemingly less popular due to their performance per dollar ratios, which is why the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has witnessed a more considerable price drop. This is undoubtedly great news for gamers looking to upgrade their GPUs since now could be the best time to switch to the RTX 40 SUPER series.

However, this price drop trend hasn't been much noticed amongst US retailers, but we believe that it may translate soon. Price corrections have always been a part of the GPU markets, and one should expect more from them coming ahead, especially from Team Red's camp, as we witness the transition into next-gen lineups.
