Nexus S accidentally shown on Best Buy

At first we thought that Samsung was going to be making the successor to Google's most popular Android OS based phone, the Nexus One but Samsung later on confirmed that they are not associated with the Nexus's successor in any way what so ever but now there has been a slip by American supermarket chain "Best Buy" when they accidentally placed pre orders for the Nexus S on their website but it was swiftly removed.

The Nexus One was one of Google's earliest entries into the Android OS market although the phone wasn't such a huge hit among the general public it was certainly a hit among Android nerds everywhere, This and the Droid are probably the most well influenced Android phones available in the market, The Nexus One was the first phone to get the Froyo ROM and it might be the first phone to get Gingerbread too.

Despite the commercial let down of the phone, Android fanatics have been wondering when they can get their hands on a Nexus successor just like how the Droid got the Droid 2. Maybe this phone is the answer to their prayers.
