Several MSI Z890 motherboards are listed on Amazon.nl, revealing the expected prices of these next-gen designs for Arrow Lake CPUs.
MSI Pro, Gaming Plus, & Tomahawk Z890 Motherboards are listed for pre-order at Amazon ahead of the launch
Till now, not much has been revealed regarding the MSI Z890 motherboard lineup. Only one or two models have been spotted in previous weeks, including the MSI Z890 Carbon WiFi and a few on the ECC registration. You can also check out our hands-on with the Z890 EDGE & Z890 PRO boards from Computex 2024 here. Today, we have three MSI Z890 motherboards that are listed on Amazon, revealing both the pictures and prices of the motherboards. Plus, there is one more on another marketplace, which we will talk about in the post later.
Thanks to @momomo_us, who spotted these listings on Amazon Netherlands. The listing pages reveal that the motherboards will be available for pre-orders starting 11th October, which is a day after Intel's official reveal for the Arrow Lake "Core Ultra Series 2" CPUs. These are the MSI Pro Z890-P WiFi, MSI Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi, and MSI MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi motherboards listed with the following prices:
- Pro Z890-P WiFi: €329.39
- Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi: €352.10
- MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi: €465.78
- Pro Z890-A WiFi: $289.99
The first on the list is the Pro Z890-P WiFi, which is the cheapest of the three. It has been listed for €329.39, which translates to US$361 with the current currency exchange. Remember that the price also includes 20% VAT, so the actual price before tax is roughly around US$300. This seems expensive compared to the Z790 generation but this is what it appears to be the preliminary prices and might change with the official launch.

The MSI Pro Z890-P WiFi brings a black PCB with silverfish heatsinks. It brings 3x PCI-E x16 and 1x PCI-E x1 slots for GPUs and expansion cards. You can see that the MSI has also introduced a different location for the EPS connectors, which are now located on the top-right, which will ease the connection process. Furthermore, an 8-pin PCI-E connector is also located at the bottom for powering GPUs. Connectivity includes WiFi 7, 5G LAN, several USB Type-A ports, and a Thunderbolt port.

Next is the Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi, which is listed at €352.10, which translates to US$386. Without VAT, the price comes down to US$321. It features an all-black PCB and heatsinks with white/grey accents. There are more M.2 shields than the Pro edition and the PCI-E slots are equal in count. The I/O is identical to the Pro Z890-P WiFi and we have the same number of USB ports as on the latter.

The third one is the mid-range MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi, which is listed at €465.78 or US$510. Excluding VAT, it comes down to US$425. It features a more premium design with bigger and denser heatsinks all over the PCB. Apart from the connectors, the board also brings an Error Code LCD for troubleshooting purposes. This is along with the EZ Debug LEDs, which are also present on the previous two motherboards.
Unfortunately, there is only a single picture of the motherboard on the listing and we don't know what its I/O looks like. Nonetheless, as we come close to the launch, it's possible to see more Z890 motherboards from MSI and other vendors.

The four one is the MSI Pro Z890-A WiFi, which is currently listed on Shopmarketplace.com for a price of $289.99. This is a US retailer and therefore, reflects a more accurate price for the motherboard. Apart from the pricing, we can see that the Pro Z890-A WiFi is similar to the Z890-P WiFi in design but has more heatsinks. It will be more expensive than the Z890-P WiFi so, the latter will most likely sell for around $250 in the US.
