MSI has registered several Intel Z890 & AMD X870E/X870 motherboards at the EEC, revealing the full extent of its next-gen lineup.
MSI's Next-Gen MEG, MPG, MAG, & PRO lineups revealed, featuring AMD X870E, X870, & Intel Z890 chipsets
As we move closer to the official launch of Intel's Arrow Lake "Core Ultra 200" CPUs & Z890 chipset motherboards, various listings are surfacing online, revealing the motherboards from different vendors. Today, it's MSI that can be seen preparing a dozen Z890 motherboards and a handful of AMD X870E/X870 motherboards as well.
The AMD Ryzen 9000 series was already launched last month but the X870/X870E motherboards are yet to be launched for purchase. From the latest leak by @harukaze5719, we can see that the company has registered four new motherboards with the X870 and X870E chipsets on EEC(Eurasian Economic Commission). These are:
- MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE
- MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI
- MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- MSI PRO X870-P WIFI
The MEG X870E GODLIKE will be the flagship motherboard from MSI while the MPG X870E Carbon WiFi will be an upper-mid range board. MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi and Pro X870-P WiFi are budget boards, which we have already talked about in detail in one of our recent posts. Some of these motherboards were also spotted yesterday on an Australian retailer along with their prices.

Moving on to the Intel Z890 chipset motherboards, we have 12 registered models on EEC, which are:
- MEG Z890 GODLIKE
- MEG Z890 ACE
- MEG Z890 UNIFY-X
- MPG Z890 CARBON WIFI
- MPG Z890 EDGE TI WIFI
- MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- PRO Z890-A WIFI
- PRO Z890-P WIFI
- Z890 GAMING PLUS WIFI
- PRO Z890-S WIFI
- PRO Z890-S WIFI WHITE
- MPG Z890I EDGE TI WIFI
These motherboards were registered on 13th September while the registration was published on 16th September. This is possibly the complete Z890 lineup from MSI, which contains all the high-end, mid-range, and budget models, featuring the MEG, MPG, MAG, and PRO series. The Unify-X is also included in the Z890 motherboard lineup which is designed for extreme memory OC & offer dual-DIMM designs.
The MPG Z890 EDGE WiFi was seen at Computex 2024, featuring a white PCB and large heatsinks for the VRM and M.2 connectors. The motherboard also features advanced features such as an Error Code display and EZ Release for easier GPU installation/uninstallation.

The next is the MSI PRO Z890-S WiFi White, which was also shown at Computex and now we know that the motherboard also has a non-white version. Surprisingly, the PRO Z890-S WiFi also features an Error Code display and EZ Release even though it's supposedly a budget offering.
The Z890 motherboards are expected to launch alongside the Arrow Lake CPUs on 24th October, and we will be able to get all of the specifications and features of these motherboards revealed.
