Metroid Prime 4 Is Indeed Being Developed By Bandai Namco, According To Multiple Sources
Metroid Prime 4 has been announced during last year's E3 but very little is currently known about the game, not even who is actually developing the game. Rumors circulating online say that the game is being developed by Bandai Namco, and it seems like this is indeed the case.
Today, Eurogamer reported that multiple sources confirmed that Metroid Prime 4 is indeed being developed in collaboration with Bandai Namco. Specifically, the studio is Bandai Namco Singapore, where former LucasArts Singapore staff are currently working.
Specifically, the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusive is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, which we understand is lead studio on the game in collaboration with Nintendo.
This studio houses some former LucasArts Singapore staff who previously worked on, among other things, the ambitious canceled Star Wars 1313.
Bandai Namco Singapore working with Nintendo on Metroid Prime 4 isn't exactly a surprise. Back when the game was announced, it was made clear that a new studio would be working on the game, with Kensuke Tanabe leading the project.
Metroid Prime 4 launches on a yet to be confirmed release date on Nintendo Switch. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
