Kingdom Come Deliverance, the massive RPG by Warhorse Studios, has been released on PC and consoles, and it seems like those who are playing it on Xbox One X are having the best possible experience that can be had on consoles.

Digital Foundry took a good look at the console version of Kingdom Come Deliverance, noting how, everything considered, the Xbox One X version is the one running best. On PS4 and Xbox One, the game runs at 900p resolution, with the PlayStation 4 version coming with better Ambient Occlusion. Both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X can run the game at 1080p / 1440p, with the Xbox One X having slightly better performance. All console versions suffer from frame pacing issues, with a 30 FPS target.

An ambitious debut from Warhorse Studios, who have forged a massive open-world RPG using Cryengine technology. The fortunes of each console versions are in line with many games using this engine however, withy frame-rates wavering between 20-30fps. Despite this, there's one clear pack leader in between the PS4 and Xbox One machines.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is now out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is getting long term support, with the team already working on new DLC questlines.
