HTC One M10 To Feature 12MP Rear Camera Sensor; Same As The Nexus 6P
2015 wasn't a good year for HTC as the company faced several serious issues with its One M9. Paired with the Snapdragon 810, HTC's flagship smartphone soon saw overheating issues surface with the device that not only led to a public relations disaster for it, but also some hasty software upgrades being released as well. This was all a bit disappointing as the company did put some time and effort in designing the HTC One M9, which doesn't lag behind in any other area. 2016's a fresh start for the company and according to some information that has surfaced today, the HTC One M10 could come packing some impressive features indeed.

The HTC One M10 To Come With Sony's IMX377 Rear Camera Sensor; Similar To The Nexus 6P
While things on the HTC One M9 might not have gone that well with HTC, the device's successor, according to current leaks and speculation should turn out to be a good offering. We've been hearing several interesting bits of news about the HTC One M10, with the device expected to feature both the Helio X20 and the Snapdragon 820; though the former has been reported to suffer from throttling.
Design wise, the HTC One M10 is expected to come with a 5.2 inch screen of resolution 2560 x 1440, or Quad HD. It's the device's camera specifications which have surfaced today, and if correct, could end up lending a good boost to its overall quality and performance. The HTC One M10 is expected to feature Sony's IMX377 rear camera sensor, which is the same one found on the Nexus 6P - launched last year and manufactured by Chinese manufacturer Huawei.
Technical specifications for the device's camera and the IMX377 are a resolution of 12MP, Laser Autofocus, a front camera of resolution 5MP and ultra-pixel on board. The rear camera should also be expected to come with OIS on board, which should make the HTC One M10 quite a sweet deal for photography lovers all around.
As far as the design details of the device go, according to an image leak we shouldn't be expecting much from the HTC One M10 this year. The fingerprint sensor for the device will be placed at the bottom with a rather interesting, oval shape. In addition, the HTC One M10 should also come with some very round corners, lending the device a flowing design.
The HTC One M10 is expected to come in May this year. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest updates.
