The long-awaited Pixel Tablet is finally going official, judging by some of the leaks we have heard. The tablet will be going on sale tomorrow, as well. This will be Google's first premium Android tablet in a long, long time and could finally usher the Android OS into a brand new era where you will actually get an ecosystem, but until that happens, we have a word on how much the tablet is going to cost in France, and it would be safe to expect similar pricing in other regions.

The Pixel Tablet could have a hard time competing in a market where better tablets are available for a lower price

Twitter user billbil_kun shared the pricing of the Pixel Tablet in France, the tablet will also come with a wireless charging dock that will have a built-in speaker, but in addition to that, a charger will not be found in the box, which should not really come as a surprise to anyone.

If you want to get the 128 gig version, it will be available in Porcelain and Hazel colorways and will set you back €679.99 (~$746.49). If you are looking for the 256 gigs variant of the Pixel Tablet, you are going to have to spend €799.99 (~$877.14), and will only be available in a Porcelain colorway. Judging by the prices we are looking at, it is safe to say that Google's upcoming tablet is not going to be cheap. As far as the specs are concerned, you are looking at the older generation Tensor G2 chipset that is going to be found in the tablet. This shouldn't come as a surprise since the tablet was introduced last year.

In another tweet, the source mentioned that if you wish to buy just the wireless charging dock, then you are expected to pay €149 (~$163.60).

Honestly, the Pixel Tablet is going to face some tough competition. Not just from Apple, because Samsung will release its premium Galaxy Tab S9 series later this year, and on paper, those tablets will be more powerful. So, I am looking forward to seeing how Google's offering manages to differentiate itself from what everyone else has to offer.

As mentioned before, the Pixel Tablet is going to go official tomorrow, and we will keep you posted with all the coverage of Google's latest offerings. Do you think that the tablet has what it takes to dethrone Apple and Samsung? Let us know what your thoughts are about Google's upcoming product lineup.
