Ubisoft's Tom Clancy franchise shows no signs of slowing. After all, the war is always going on, somewhere out there. The latest entry in the popular Ghost Recon series is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, which was confirmed just a few days ago. Now, during Ubisoft's E3 2019 press conference, new details have been confirmed, in addition to a brand new trailer.

Breakpoint is another strategic open-world shooter which will see you and a group of friends travel across massive amounts of terrain and shoot down foes online. Solo players will be overjoyed to know that AI teammates will be making a return in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, making playing solo a much more streamlined experience.

Breakpoint is undoubtedly visually impressive, with massive open fields, canyons, fog effects, and much more. It looks like a living, breathing world, one which will soon be deafened by the sound of gunfire as you romp across the landscape with your friends in a Jeep.

Jon Bernthal has been confirmed as a key actor in the game, bringing his voice and motion-captured performance to the protagonist, Colonel Cole D. Walker. Bernthal is known for his role as Shane in The Walking Dead, and will certainly lend an authentic performance to the game.

The trailer doesn't show much, but as Ubisoft staff members took to the stage to talk about the game, it certainly sounds exciting. The staff sounds like they've learned lessons from the mixed reception to Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint appears to be a firm return to form.

But what do you think? Are you interested in seeing Jon Bernthal's performance? Is he the actor you wanted to see in the role? And are you going to purchase Ghost Recon: Breakpoint? Let us know in the comments below, and stay on Wccftech for more from E3 2019.
