The new Color Splash and Abstract Shapes wallpapers from macOS Sierra 10.12.2 are now available to download for any device.
macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Beta 4 Ships With Four New Wallpapers - The Same Ones from 2016 MacBook Pro Marketing
Apple released the fourth beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 yesterday and it features a great little change - new wallpapers. These wallpapers are the very same ones which Apple used in its 2016 MacBook Pro marketing material. But strangely enough, those wallpapers didn't ship as part of the notebook. Instead, the company opted to make them part of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 update, which is due for release later this year.
There are four wallpapers in total. Three of them are called Color Splash, while the fourth one is called Abstract Shapes. All of them are extremely vibrant and pleasant to look at. Best of all: they're 5K in resolution, which means they'll fit any device with absolute ease.
Simply click on this link to download them all as a single pack. If you want to download the wallpapers individually then you can do so by clicking on them below.
These backdrops look insanely gorgeous on a high resolution tablet, especially on an OLED panel. But if you plan on using them on a device like a smartphone, then do keep in mind you will have to scale the wallpaper a bit to make it fit appropriately. Nonetheless, all of them look amazing, and we are certain you will love them too.
Apart from the images above, Apple packed in new backdrops in iOS 10.2 as well for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users. Check out the link below in order to download them straight onto your device.
macOS Sierra 10.12.2 is all set for release some time later this year. Given we are sitting on top of the fourth beta already, it's likely we won't see more than a single beta until the final version drops. Whenever it does happen though, we will readily inform our readers about it.
As usual, we will guide our readers through all the routes they can take to install the new software too. So be on a lookout for that as well.
In the meantime, give the wallpapers a spin on your device and let us know in the comments section what you think about them. My personal favorite is the blue Color Splash one. What about yours?
