Death Stranding 2 may be releasing in 2025, according to new information that was discovered online today.

ResetERA forums member Red Kong XIX shared a screenshot of an unspecified ArtStation profile of a professional artist who worked on multiple titles as a character artist, such as Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which lists Death Stranding 2 with a 2025 release window. While the profile looks legit, the information it provides may not be accurate, so we must take this release window with a grain of salt until an official confirmation comes in.

While it has been a while since we have seen Death Stranding 2 in action, we likely won't have to wait much longer to see more of the game. Hideo Kojima has been teasing working on a new trailer, and with The Game Awards' reaction to the tweet shared by the legendary developer, there's little doubt that this trailer will be shared during this year's The Game Awards show in around two weeks.

Death Stranding 2 launches on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date on PlayStation 5. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news. In the meantime, you can learn more about the first entry in the series by checking out my review.
