ASRock Silently Rolls Out NUC Ultra 300 Box Mini PCs, Featuring Intel Core Ultra 325 and Core Ultra X7 358H

As it may seem, it's not a sudden or unexpected launch of the latest ASRock NUC Ultra 300 Box series. ASRock has previously announced the latest NUC Ultra 300 Box series, packed with Intel Core Ultra 300 aka Panther Lake CPUs, last month. However, the latest NUC Box machines have only been added recently on the official website, confirming the SKU selection by the company. The new NUC Box series succeeds the Nuc Box 200 series and currently offers four different mini PCs as can be seen on the website.

These are industrial embedded BOX mini PCs that offer either the budget Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or the Core Ultra X7 358H processor. Each of them is deployed in two different models, featuring similar specifications, but in a different chassis. The core configuration remains the same in both chassis, but the "NUC" uses a bigger box, featuring dual 2.5G LAN ports instead of one in the "NUCS" edition. However, there is one less USB 3.2 Gen 2 port in the NUCS edition.

It is slightly thicker at 49 mm vs the 38 mm NUCS edition, and both are available as barebones. The NUC BOX 300 series can be upgraded with up to 128 GB DDR5 memory using SO-DIMM modules rated at up to 7200 MT/s. For storage, there are 2x M.2 ports and a single M.2 key E for WiFi modules. The one with the Core Ultra 5 325 offers 8 core configuration without any efficient cores, while the one with Core Ultra X7 358H offers up to 16 cores (4+8+4) and the flagship Arc B390 integrated graphics with 12 Xe3 cores.

ASRock advertises the NUC Ultra 300 BOX series as the "Core of Next-Gen AI" that delivers up to 180 AI TOPS of combined CPU, GPU, and NPU performance. These machines are also equipped with modern connectivity ports such as USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports with Alt DP 2.1, and USB 3.2 Gen2x2 USB Type C ports with DP1.4a support.

Currently, no information on pricing or availability has been shared on the website, but we will update you as soon as more details emerge.
