Today, Apple has seen fit to release public beta 5 of iOS 13, iPadOS and tvOS 13 with improvements and fixes which were not addressed in the previous builds. The latest beta builds arrive a day after the company seeded the sixth developer beta and a week after the fourth public beta was released for the aforementioned builds. Let's dive in to see some more details on what the new beta builds have in store.
Apple Releases Public Beta 5 of iOS 13 and tvOS 13
If you're interested in installing the public beta 5 of iOS 13 or iPadOS, you can sign up on the Apple beta testing website which will provide you access to download all beta builds from Apple. iOS 13 is a major update bringing a boatload of new additions to the table.
Some of these additions include a system-wide dark mode. Furthermore, it's worth noting that iOS 13 is now divided for the iPhone and iPad. Now apps are split up and will be downloaded separately. There's a new photo editing interface, new less obtrusive volume HUD and more. In addition, the new Find My app includes Find My Phone and Find My Friends app. This also allows you to track your devices even when they're offline. There's a boatload of other additions as well.
Moving on, other than iOS 13 public beta 5, Apple has also released public beta 5 of tvOS 13. if you're interested, it can be downloaded on your Apple TV devices by going to Settings and then navigating to the Software Update section under "System". Toggle on "Get Public Beta Updates" and you will receive the update automatically.
tvOS 13 adds a new Home screen which makes it easier for you to discover new content, auto-playing videos of shows and movies, multi-user support, Apple Arcade, and new screensaver options. There are other additions part of the update as well so be sure to check that out as well.
